Welcoming the hot summer season, Morton’s of Chicago’s renowned steakhouse introduces a unique and exclusive wine pairing menu, available on Sunday 26th July, 2015 featuring an extensive collection of red and white wines from both the old and new world, carefully picked by Morton’s Sommelier Simon Graham.

Starting the meal with a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Greywacke paired with the Jumbo Crab Cake, Shrimp Alexander and Broiled Sea Scallop wrapped with Beacon. Hailing from the famed wine region of New Zealand, The Greywacke Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014’s crisp, fruity body elevates the fresh essence from the seafood.

The next pairing features the Napa Cellars Chardonnay 2013 with Morton’s Center Cut Iceberg with Blue Cheese Dressing Salad. The sweet aroma of the Chardonnay mellows out the tangy blue cheese to create a perfect balance between creaminess and acidity to give the salad a certain depth and sophistication.

The highlight for meat lovers is of course, Morton’s quintessential steak dishes will be paired with the Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, and the Cesari Amorone Valpolicella DOCG Classico 2010. As many win lovers will already know, Cesari is a name tied to wine with love and respect since 1936, the steak experience is brought to a whole new level, elevating the fineness of the 2 wines and the meat.

The Special Pairing Menu will be available on Sunday July 26th, 2015 starting at 7pm. Bookings will be made available on the same day staring at 6pm.
