Schiopetto 5-course Wine Dinner at Assagio Trattoria Italiana

Following the recent Wine and Dine, Asssaggio Trattoria Italiana Wan Chai will be hosting a special exclusive Schopetto 5-Course Wine dinner menu that combines Northern Italian-style cuisines created by Assaggio’s very own Brand Chef Francesco Gava with fine wines from Schiopetto.

Available for one night only, the special menu features exquisite wine pairings for each course, giving diners a full experience of a heavenly culinary match between wines and dine. Pairing with Green Asparagus, Aged Parma Ham and Stuffed Boiled Egg with the award winning Schiopetto Pinot Bianco Collio 2012, the menu starts off with a wonderful kick of flavors to prepare your palette for a unique experience.

Pumpkin Soup and Cream Cheese

Followed by the Seafood Salad seasoned with Lemon and Extra Virgin Olive Oil paired with the Schiopetto Friulana Collio 2010 the menu continues to combine the sophisticated flavors of Schiopetto wines with rich flavors with the Mario Schiopetto 2007 paired with the Pumpkin Soup and Cream Cheese.

Lastly the Schiopetto Rivarossa Rosso IGT 2010 and 2011 is paired with Herb Butter Glazed Lamb Chop and Assorted Cheese Platter to emphasize on the distinctive characters of the two vintages. And for dessert, the Homemade Cookies & Dessert is served with a choice of coffee or tea.
