This tasting will showcase a French wine triptych, the 2005 Gaston Chiquet Special Club, the 2000 Paul Autard CDP Cote Ronde and the 2006 Les Bois De Saint Andelain Michel Redde & Fils.

2005 Gaston Chiquet Special Club Grand Cru Brut

Gaston Chiquet’s 2005 Brut Special Club is fairly soft, the open champagne is laced with traces of dried pears, cherries, spices, mint and orange peel. The sweet floral and spiced notes are beautifully blended together creating a soft finish, earning it a rating of RP90.

2000 Paul Autard CDP Cote Ronde

The 2000 Paul Autard CDP Cote Ronde unfolds with aromas of mincemeat, plums, allspice, cherries, and vanilla. Rated RP91, the medium-bodied wine has outstanding depth and low acidity, creating lush and fleshy notes that linger magically on your palate.

2006 Les Bois De Saint Andelain Michel Redde & Fils

2006 Les Bois De Saint Andelain Michel Redde & Fils is an interesting Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly Fume. Featuring a deep yellow hue, the wine carries delightful aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and strong minerality creating a complex medium to full-bodied wine with a soft finish.
