The Longines Heritage 1969

The LONGINES Heritage 1969 draws its inspiration from a timepiece created in the late 1960s. Located in Saint-Imier, where the winged hourglass brand had its start in 1832, the LONGINES Museum is filled with treasures synonymous with the brand’s rich know-how. It is here that the brand draws inspiration from its historic collection, as a tribute to its long watchmaking tradition. So was born The LONGINES Heritage 1969, a piece with a vintage design echoing the lines of a watch created in the late 1960s.

The Longines Heritage 1969

The new  addition of the Longines Heritage collection, features a cushion-shaped steel case matched with a brushed silvery dial. This unusual design reflects on the essence of the original model. At the time, this model was available in steel, gold plating and 18 karat gold, but for its descendant, a steel case has been selected and elegantly combined with a brushed silvery dial adorned with 12 pink applique indexes giving the timeless design a modern touch. The hands, which are also pink, mark the hours, minutes and seconds while providing optimal readability. Just like the original model, the date aperture is positioned at 4:30.
