La Maison du Chocolat: Find Your Easter Egg in the Animal Jungle

My childhood memories of Easter are full of chocolate flavour. Now that I’ve grown up, I still look forward to this festive period. This year, I’m about to go on a safari in the jungle of chocolate sweetness in search of the perfect Easter egg.

Created by La Maison du Chocolat’s Chocolate Chef Nicolas Cloiseau, the new animal collection seeks to bring back your childhood memories of Easter. Playfully designed and richly flavoured, the Easter eggs will surely awaken your inner child.

Celebrating the nature in this festive spring, Chef Cloiseau constructs a world of lovely animals such as bunnies, chicks, cows, and sheeps in this year’s Easter Collection. Each animal is beautifully hand-crafted, while they are given specific cacao combination for an exquisite taste of spring: Mr. Bunny’s coat is made of caramel- and coconut-flavoured milk chocolate nut, whereas his playful flying friend Mademoiselle Feather is made of caramelized biscuit and almond hazelnut chocolate.

 

While the funny Mr. Sheep is made of hazelnut praline, the shy Miss Cow uses a mousse-like almond chocolate nut to cover herself, peeking at the Easter-egg-seeking kids!
