L’altro Celebrating Black Truffle Season at Central’s L Place

Celebrating the black truffle season, two star Michelin-star Chef Philippe Leveille of L’atro Hong Kong at Central, presents a 6-course Valentine’s Day menu on February 14th, as well as a a-la-carte and a tasting menu.

Chef Philippe describes his acclaimed upscale culinary concept as “Greedy, buttered, generous and never brainy”. His skills and experience is recognized as one of Italy’s most influencial chefs by Grande Cucine, the prestigious magazine!

 

The 4-course Black truffle tasting Menu kicks off with Quail, Cured Pancetta, and Winter Salad which is followed by Suckling Pig Tortellini and Sweet Cheese Fondue and many other delights. The black truffle tasting menus priced at HK$1,080 and HK$1,680 with optional wine.

2014-Laltro-Lamb Loin with Truffle Crust and Garden Vegetables

The extravagant 6-course menu priced at $1,680 or $2,680 with wine pairing, starts with Pan-Seared Foie Gras with Rosemary Pumpkin Puree and Hokkaido Sea Scallop Carpaccio, with Lime and Oscietra Caviar.  Followed by the Home-Made Spaghetti Carbonara and Truffle Pepper, and also the Orange-Scented John Dory with Artichokes Puree and Black truffle Foam. The course continues with the Lamb Loin with truffle Crust and Garden Vegetables and is completed with dessert, Gelato Miramonti.
