Chef Jason AthertonFrom now (March 10th) until the 23rd, Conrad Hong Kong is proud to participate in the GREAT Weeks to bring to you spectacular British cuisines inspired by Michelin –Starred Guest Chef Jason Atherton. In 2010 Chef Jason Atherton started his journey as a restaurateur, and has been awarded “chef of the Year” by “caterer and Hotelkeeper”.


Having worked with world-class chefs such as Pierre Koffmann, Marco Pierre White, Nico Ladeni, Ferran Adria and Gordon Ramsay, the acclaimed British Chef led his team to achieve one Michelin Star for his flagship restaurant “Pollen Street Social” within half a year! During the GREAT week promotion, different restaurants from Conrad Hong Kong will have the best of British cuisines showcased by Chef Jason.


On the 13th of March, 2 special lunch menus will be available on Brasserie on the Eighth, these menu features “Bristish bangers and Mash with Onion Gravy” and “English Victorian Trifle with vanilla Cream”to give a warm homely touch to guest’s palate. Guests can also enjoy a 5-course Gala Dinner where Chef Jason will show off his celebrated signature dishes like “Roasted Fillet of Beef with Smoked Aubergine Puree, Heritage Carrots and Glazed Baby Onions” as well as a superb cheese selection. The 2 special lunch menus are priced at HK$ 358 for the 2-course menu and HK$388 for the 3-course menu, while the gala dinner is priced at HK$988 per person. With just an additional HK$400 per person guests can also enjoy 4 glasses of pairing English wines for the gala dinner!



To support the GREAT Weeks, Brasserie on the Eighth and Nicholini’s will extend their Sunday Brunch for the whole weekend during the promotion period, allowing guests to sample lavishing British brunch favorites with succulent roasts, pan seared foie-gras, fresh flown-in seafood on ice, a range of sushi and sashimi al dante Italian pastas and fine dessert creations!

As for Breakfast, Lobby lounge’s Breakfast buffet will be serving wildy popular British morning meal goodies such as made-to-order eggs, garlic and herbs pork sausages, middle white back bacons, Stornoway black pudding and much more! To ensure that guests have a good hardy breakfast, the breakfast buffet also includes homemade delicacies like yoghurts, Bircher Muesli and aromatic bakery items!


Amongst all the meals of the day, Afternoon tea is the most iconic British dining legacy. The afternoon tea in Lobby Lounge has a wonderful addition brought by Chef Jason. The special dish to look out for in the afternoon tea includes “Smoked Salmon and Capers Sandwich”, “Egg Mayonnaise with Cress Sandwich”, “Mini Shperd’s Pie”, Baked Salmon with Brick Dough” and “Traditional raisin and Classic Scone Served with Clotted Cream and Homemade Jam”.


Lastly, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, guests can enjoy premium wine and cheese for a relaxing evening. The British Wine and Cheese Evening includes Chef Jason’s favorite cheese and assortment with more than 10 selected brands of wines and champagnes! Live entertainments and an eye opening spread of cold cuts and canapés will also be available!
