WAKO Presents Limited Special Grilled Meat and New Seasonal Izakaya Menu

Wako Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant strives to serve authentic Japanese yakiniku in Hong Kong. This spring, Wako introduces limited special grilled meat. Starting this month until April, the restaurant’s executive chef has tailored Izakaya menus using seasonal ingredients of the month.

Mar_Marinated Skipjack with White Miso Sauce_L

This month the seasonal menu celebrates the awakening of spring. The limited special grilled meat includes Saga pork Rib eye, white originates from Kyushu Island in Japan. The intense flavor of the pork derives from synergizing the secret homemade grill sauce with strictly selected rib eye specialties. March is also the time of the year where skipjack flourishes. Marinated Skipjack with White Miso Sauce takes the savory skipjack with its fine fats and fleshy texture, and combines it with homemade white miso sauce. Another dish in this month’s menu is the Silverfish in Sake, which the chef highly recommends. The rare silverfish is caught in Japan during the morning and delivered to Hong Kong by air immediately to retain the freshness and fleshy taste!

 

Apr_Crab Shell with Crab Roe and Miso_LDuring April, the blossoming spring is celebrated with Yamagata Wagyu Beef Shoulder. Using on the precious part of wagyu beef shoulder, the smooth texture of the meat is enriched by the perfect balance of fat creating a rich beef flavor that melts in your mouth. The menu also includes Crab Shell with Crab roe and miso. The highlighted limited special dish’s remarkable taste is created by mixing crab meat and red miso with rich amounts of crab roe served in a Hokkaido Matsuba crab shell to complete an unforgettable culinary experience.
