What to wear during freezing winter that won’t look chunky and floated?

For people living in cold areas, environment has always been a big trouble for fashionable modern women as it might be quite difficult to keep trendy and warm at the same time. However, it is this problem that inspired ATSURO TAYAMA, of which the new collection comes as a result.

The fall winter collection features expanded image of women in warm layers created by the “pinafore”, which can be coordinated freely with skirts or trousers in warm materials such as fur, thick wool and hand-knitted woolen, and items such as a long shirt with a length that can be adjusted to create a balloon look.

Monochrome is the theme for color, with minimum coloring including white, grey, and black involved for a calm beauty. To create a sense of warmth and sophistication, classical prints such as Glen plaid, herringbone and hound’s-tooth are applied to wool and nylon.

In terms materials, texture is the main focus with whole knitted garments in light Italian wool, high density dobby used for men’s dress shirt, and soft and light double-faced wool. Another focus lies in details, especially the hand sewing techniques in stitching, ribbons, and a combination of knitted elements.

As the brand’s symbolic color, black dress is also a highlight. Embellished with solid blue and Green ribbons, ATSURO TAYAMA’s dynamic femininity is accentuated through the contrast of stillness and motion.
