TH_True to the Blue_Main ImageTo celebrate the enduring influence of denim, chambray and indigo as well as the role they played throughout the brand’s heritage, Tommy Hilfiger is proud to announce the launch of spring 2014 “True to the Blue” collection, which will be available at the brand’s store in Europe, the U.S., Asia and Latin America from April 14, 2014.

From the establishment in 1985 till now, Tommy Hilfiger has always been looking at style through a new lens and reinventing the classics with modern twist. With this philosophy, the brand is famous as representing individuality, freedom and youthful irreverence that are synonymous with the American lifestyle and are globally recognised as style essentials.

TH_True_to_the_Blue_Peoples_PlaceTommy Hilfiger started the idea at age of 17, when he bought bell-bottom jeans in New York with two friends and took them back to his hometown where it’s impossible to find big city styles. The jeans were sold quickly. Later they opened a chain of stores called “People’s Place” and he began working with chambray, denim and different washes. “My career began with denim and chambray, so these fabrics are key to our brand’s heritage,” Tommy Hilfiger said. “Since launching my namesake brand in 1985, these fabrics and my signature color palette have remained an important part of our brand DNA.”

Available respectively for men, women, and children, the new spring collection is a modern interpretation of the brand’s most beloved vintage pieces, featuring various shades of blue and indigo embellished with pop colors in neon pink and orange.
