A South American Afternoon Tea Voyage at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong

The 2014 World Cup is almost upon us, French gourmet Chocolatier Jean-Paul Hévin and The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong are joining forces to create an afternoon tea in tribute to the 2014 World Cup. The South American-themed afternoon tea will be available starting June 1st until July 31st at the hotel’s café 103.


The menu for this afternoon tea is crafted with an exotic South American twist, Chef Richard long presents a full range of savories such as Duck Foie Gras Pate Mini Puff with Cuba Cocoa Nibs, Smoked Salmon Marinated with Vanilla Cocoa Oil on Rye Bread, Brazilian Coffee Bread Sandwich with Seafood and Dill Cream, and Truffle Egg Mayonnaise on Brown bread.


Meanwhile, the renowned French Chocolatier, Jean-Paul Hévin, presents a unique selection using some of the world’s most refined cocoa beans from South America. The featured items in this menu have never before been presented in Hong Kong prior to this menu!  The menu will be featuring Crusty Chocoloate Tarts, Melt-in-your-Mouth Orange Flavored Madeleine Pastries, Tradition French Pastry La Religieuse Filled with Cream and topped with Chocolate, Brazilian Chocolate Bonbons in honor of the World Cups Host, and many more delicious delights to satisfy that sweet tooth of yours!
