Shot by Steven Meisel, Prada 2014 fall winter women’s advertising campaign features powerful geometric architecture to contrast the smoky sensuality of Argentinian beauty Mica Arganaraz.

unnamed (5)For outfits in the Prada new advertising campaign, undulating art-deco prints and a mass of raw shearling forms a strong contrast with the gey modernism while the background view of concrete curves and steel-grey windowpanes that can reflect the surrounding nature contrasts with the Arganaraz who’s in focus in the front.

Amptified by Meisel’s low angles and perspective, the face of the season Arganaraz together with the concrete background creates a beauty mixing power and softness. Her charm is accentuated with scarf flowing on her necks, chevron knitwear slouching at thigh, and the bags that feel like silk. In addition, the presence of Karl Kolbitz adds a bit of chemistry effect, a hint of human story.unnamed (3)

In terms of bag campaign, Arganaraz captures it alone, leaving the focus on the textures and forms, where exquisite leather and crocodile lean on the rough concrete wall.

The duet between two protagonists, light and dark, tough and sexy, captures the avant-garde spirit and the storytelling at the heart of the new collection.
