Joyce Cares has been working together with upcoming artists and designers on sustainable projects to give back to the community, and to support emerging young talents. Their latest collaboration with Korean designer Juun.J, aims to support the environmental awareness project that has been sweeping Hong Kong off its feet, the “1,600 Pandas” Project.

To synergize with the “1,600 Pandas” Project, Joyce has started a Pop-Up store in the Joyce Care space in the brand-new PMQ. The store features a special collection of T-shirts, totes, bags, cushions and other lifestyle item. The custom panda prints designed by Juun.J builds upon the idea of the 1,600 Pandas Project, conceived by French artist Paulo Grangeon, which aims to raise awareness over the issue of the rapid and tragic loss of the Giant Panda species.

The adorable products available at the store will not only look good at home, but will also contribute to World wildlife Fund’s (WWF) cause. A percentage of the sales will automatically be donated to WWF to help protect the magnificent wildlife of our diverse planet.

Installed within the pop-up store, a ‘social-media wall’ shows a live feed from 2 different social media hashtags, #joycecares and #juunjpandas, creating a unique interaction between fan, charity supporters and shoppers! During the weekends of the pop-up period, a special collaboration between Joyce Cares and Lab Made Ice Cream will be available to shoppers who have purchased items from the store. The collaboration features 2 different flavors, Double Coconut and Super Lemon Meringue Pie, which will be adorably decorated with the iconic black and white features of the Great Pandas!
