The Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 Ready-To-Wear Collection adapts a variety of soft beiges and grey color tones that is combined with light weight fabrics creating a contemporary silhouette that resemble the 1970’s style. The collection features oversized sweater, formless tunics paired with stovepipe leggings, doublefaced cashmere coats and dresses featuring side slits and deep v necks.

Jacobs described that for this collection, “We looked at women like Meryl Streep and Jessica Lange, women we admire and respect who have strength without any aggressivity.” the idea behind the ready-to-wear collection was to create a strong independent women style without the overbearing hostility.
