The Los Angeles- based luxury denim brand 7 For All Mankind has released their new Fall Winter Collection aptly titled #7OBSESSIONS. The collection centers on the parallels between the complexities of a relationship and “a woman’s obsession with her jeans”, shown through the classic denim looks with a contemporary twist.

In a previous Vogue interview, it was revealed that the brand name is based on the concept that the average person has 7 pairs of jeans in their wardrobe at any given time; with this tempting new collection, closets just might expand further this fall.

#7OBSESSIONS officially launches with a 30 second clip; at the same time, Miranda announced her collaboration with 7 For All Mankind on Instagram. In a teaser clip, the fresh-faced beauty mused coyly on her own obsession with the brand’s jeans, “‘I love them… I love them,’ while following up with images from the campaign.

The collection features classic designs that have made the brand adored by celebrities such as Emma Stone, and Kate Bosworth, not to mention James Franco, Ashton Kutcher and Ryan Reynolds. A high-waisted leather pencil skirt could be easily matched with a white shirt such as the one worn by Miranda below for the office; accessorised with a cuff bracelet and an on-trend choker necklace, the skirt would also be perfect worn for after-work drinks. The skirts and jeans of this collection would match sleek leather pumps for a smart casual look, but in a lighter wash the denim jeans could also be worn for the fall transition with peep-toe espadrilles.

Things will heat up in October with a four minute artistic film, which will have four 30-second teasers the first of which will be released in September.

Famed for being the first Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel, Miranda’s impressive portfolio also includes the covers of Vogue China, Australia, and Elle Italia. Another name to know in the modeling world is Jon Kortajarena: previously having appeared with Anja Rubik for the spring summer campaign, the Spanish supermodel is no stranger to seduction. Having graced the cover of L’Officiel Hommes in 2008, he followed up with a short but memorable role as Carlos in “A Single Man”, Tom Ford’s 2009 directorial debut.

Channeling the raw sensuality of James Dean in the film, it paid off well as here he smolders in an outfit representing the best of 1950s Americana. While pulling off a similar double-denim look may seem difficult, wearing the brand’s classic straight-legged jeans in Deep Well paired with a shirt in pearl grey channels a similar monochrome vibe.

For 7 For All Mankind president Barry Miguel, “This campaign beautifully embodies our Brand DNA. Our campaigns seek to create everlasting images that are effortlessly chic and memorable,” he said. As Andy Griffiths, vice president of marketing, explained, “Miranda was involved from the very beginning as we conceptualized #7OBSESSIONS. Her creativity and input was inspiring and her efforts have continued throughout the editing process. She was involved to the very end.”

Behind the scenes, a similar stable of fashion luminaries were gathered: the iconic shots were accomplished by famed photographer Sebastian Faena, while the campaign was styled by Alex White, former creative director of W Magazine, and directed by David Lipman. As Miranda explained perfectly: “7’s: They didn’t just mean for all MANkind.”
