Highly acclaimed French steakhouse Le “Relais de I’ Entrecote” is ready to expand its business into Asia. The world-class city, Hong Kong, has been chosen as the location of its first Asia Flagship, striving to offer some the most authentic French cuisine to Hong Kong foodies.

The new outlet will be situated in Queen’s Road East in Wanchai. An exotic atmosphere has been successfully created by the brasserie-style decoration of quaint Parisian bistros and immaculately dressed waitresses in black with a white apron. Le “Relais de I’ Entrecote” is also renowned for its “no-menu” and “no-reservation” policies, there is always a long queue outside Parisian stores.

Various classic Parisian dishes will be introduced to Hong Kong diners. It begins with a crisp salad topped with walnuts and a Dijon mustard based dressing. This starter is refreshing and appetizing. Homemade traditional French baguette would pair perfectly with the salad. Signature dish of the bistro is the juicy trimmed striploin with crispy thick-cut fries. Guests are welcome to choose how their like their steaks cooked. Coming along with the steak, the “secret” sauce is highlight of the dish. The recipe was created over 50 years ago by the founder of Le “Relais de I’ Entrecote”, Paul Gineste de Saurs, it is one of the reasons that attract travelers from all over the world to the Parisian outlets.

In addition to starters and main courses, desserts and wine must not be missed out in French cuisine. Diners would fall in love with the well-received Profiteroles Au Chocolat, the Tulip with Berries, and the Vacherin du Relais. The chefs are incredibly strict in choosing the wine to accompany with the perfectly cooked steaks. Selection on the wine list is from family-owned vineyards located in the Côte du Tarn in Burgundy, which is well-known for its high quality red wine.

The restaurant will start providing Parisian dining experience in late September. It would be an ideal place to enjoy a unforgettable culinary experience with friends after a long day of work.
