French Window Brasserie and Bar National Day Feast

Situated near the world-renowned Victoria Harbour, French Window Brasserie and Bar with the ceiling-to-floor windows would be an ideal venue for enjoying the upcoming 2014 National Day Fireworks Displays. Allowing diners to have the most memorable National Day celebration, a six-course exquisite menu has been designed by the Executive Matthieu Bonnier.


To start with, diners will be served with the appetizing Duo of Beef and Shrimp Tartar in the feast. Seafood broth Scallops á la nage lets diners enjoy the fresh essence of the sea. It would be perfect to warm up the stomach after finishing the exhilarating starter. Asparagus and Crayfish has a light and full of flavour. The aromatic Black Truffle Sabayon combined with the after taste of the Scallop a la nage creates a complementing effect giving you a rich culinary experience.

The chefs of French Window Brasserie and Bar try to bring the most authentic French cuisine for diners. Two signature dishes are included in the menu, which are the traditional Lyonnaise Pike Perch Quenelle with Nantua Sauce and Coq au vin. Pike fishing season is in autumn so that diners could revel in the freshest pike mixing with cream and eggs. Coq au vin is a classic French family dish that is chicken braised with wine, lardons, mushrooms and garlic. Texture of the meat is undoubtedly tender. The menu is completed with the delicate dessert Poached Pear Baked inPuff Pastry with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce.
