Contemporary Sichuan restaurant, Yun Yan, has taken the signature fiery flavors of Sichuanese cuisine and put them together in a limited Winter Fire Pot Casserole Menu to warm up the cold winter nights. Featuring 6 flaming flavored delicacies served in a fire pot casserole to boost up the flavors, the limited promotion is available until 28th February, 2015.

 

Fire pot casseroles are commonly used by native Sichuan villagers to gather friends and families over a flaming hot pot to warm their bodies during the winter season. Inspired by this dining tradition, Executive Chef of Yun Yan, Chef Kenny Chan created this winter menu, each prepared with seasonal ingredients to give you the hottest dining experience this winter.

The limited Fire Pot casserole menu features Poached Chicken and Sea Whelk with Chinese Wine in Chili Broth, Poached Frogs with Filets of Yellow Eel with Assorted Vegetables in Chili Broth, Pork Belly with Sichuan Dried Meat and Assorted Vegetables in Chicken Broth, Poached Pork Intestine, Blood and Chicken Testis in Chili Broth, Signature Sichuan-style Lamb’s brisket in Chili Broth and Chili Beef Brisket with Potatoes in Chili Broth.

Blending the restaurants homemade mala sauce, pickled pepper sauce, chili bean sauce and more to make the broth, the Poached Chicken and Sea Whelk with Chinese Wine in Chili Broth takes the tender and succulent poached chicken and sea whelk soaks up the intense flavors of the broth leaving a fiery mark in your mouth.
