Crowned as one of the most innovative diving watches of the century when it launched back in 2013, the Oris Aquis Depth Gauge makes a strong return with a new blackened case and a sharp yellow rubber strap.

The new version features a steel case with black DLC coating which contrasts with the tungsten unidirectional rotating bezel. The new darker colors create a strong contrast with the watches yellow dept gauge indicator and the dynamic new yellow strap. Presented in a new waterproof case, the resilient new look is the perfect companion for divers on their next adventure.

The new striking look takes away the classic composed style of the original look, and puts on a new dynamic outdoor persona to fit in with the watches unique feature. The 4.5mm thick sapphire crystal has a inlet at the 12 o’clock location, leading to a channel milled into the edge of the crystal which forms the watch’s one-of-a-kind depth gauge indication. Through the application of the Boyle-Mariotte’s Law, which states that if the volume of a gas is decreased, the pressure increases proportionally, the watch’s bright yellow depth gauge indicator accurately gives the diver a clear readout to a depth of 100m.
