Three years ago Palais Royal Hong Kong celebrated the grand opening of their gallery space. Specializing in showcasing some 20th century jewellery, the gallery space gave people a beautiful peek in to some of the most magnificent and unique pieces from the past. For the special occasion of Le French May, Palais Royal Hong Kong will displayan exclusive exhibition “The Golden Age of French Jewellery” featuring some of the most exquisite pieces created by some of the largest names in the industry!

The exhibition features a highly exclusive collection which has been carefully curated to express the passion for French treasures. Each a paragon of a different era, the exhibition takes you through 1900’s to 1980’s pieces, giving you a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the historical excursion of French Bijouterie.

Amongst the many exclusive pieces from renowned French jeweller such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron and of course René Lalique, the main highlight of the exhibition is the Golden Scarabs Bracelet created by René Lalique as a present for his daughter. The impeccable details and unusual design makes the pieces a must-see for connoisseurs and collectors!


The exhibition will be available to the public from May 6th to 21st. During these dates, guests with an interest in history/jewellery/art can also book a session in groups of maximum 4 for a private tour of the exhibition by Mr. Gilles Zalulyan, the gallery owner and specialist (3rd generation) in antique jewellery.
